The Fishing Year in Port O’Connor

Fishing is good year-round here, but the species and tactics change with the seasons. Here’s a quick look at what to expect throughout the year:
Spring (March–May): Trout spawn begins; great action for redfish and black drum.
Summer (June–August): Peak speckled trout time; morning trips beat the heat.
Fall (September–November): Big bull reds migrate; best time for numbers and size.
Winter (December–February): Calm waters and sight-fishing opportunities in clear shallows for redfish and flounder.
Captain Wes will always advise you on what’s biting and the best tactics for your booking window.
